Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus and welcome to First United Methodist Church in Junction City, Kansas. We are located in downtown Junction City at the intersection of 8th and Jefferson Streets (one block north of the Municipal Building / Firestation).

Our church was established in 1861 with two members, five probationary members, and one local preacher. Today our membership is approximately 575 members.

On Sunday mornings, we have a worship service at 8:00 AM (traditional style) and another at 10:45 AM (contemporary style). There is a time for fellowship in the parlor after the early service and before the late service. Sunday School classes are available for all age groups from 9:30 to 10:20 AM. A nursery with certified staff is available for infants and toddlers.

Our church is located a few miles from Fort Riley, home of the 1st Infantry Division. Military personnel and their families are invited to our worship services and other activities within the life of the church.
